Marshal Rota 2011
As you appreciate all club Events are organized by volunteers and as most club
members like to race in these events, it is only fair that they do there share
of marshalling in order that the events can take place and comply with the
requirements of the RTTC and police. The police insist that there is a turn
marshal wearing a reflective Club jacket, the jacket can be picked up at the
start. The names listed below have been selected to present themselves on the
date shown for marshalling duties. To prevent unforeseen happenings marring the
event
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE NAMED PERSON TO FIND A REPLACEMENT SHOULD THEY
BE UNABLE TO TAKE THEIR TURN AND NOTIFY THE ORGANISER A.S.A.P.

Results Marshal - To assist the person signing on riders by
collecting entry fees, hand out numbers, complete the results sheet with names
taken from the signing on sheet, fill in times when riders return and collect
and check all numbers are returned.
Members, schoolboy/girl, juniors are free, full and 2nd claim £2.00
Guests and first time riders, £3.00
Sign/pusher off - To collect signs and place the large sign on
verge approaching start where indicated by yellow arrow on the road. Smaller
sign to be placed on verge opposite start facing on coming traffic.
Turn Marshall - To collect Phone from signing on table, collect
rucksack containing two signs, reflective jacket and red flag. Place one sign on
the Pailton road facing on coming traffic, the other sign on the return leg,
again facing on coming traffic. Hold red flag high as rider approaches turn to
warn motorists, marshal must wear reflective jacket.
