WELCOME TO HINCKLEY CYCLE RACING CLUB
Thank you for taking an interest in Hinckley CRC. We hope that this site will help you to decide if we are the club for you, and if so, make joining as painless as possible.
HISTORY
Founded in the year 1947 the club still has two of the original founders as members today.
COMPETITION
The main competitive focus of the club are the Tuesday evening 10 mile time trials. Held every Tuesday evening during the season at Wolvey Maps these events are very popular and being held on a relatively safe single carriageway road offers a good introduction to competitive cycling. All new members will be made very welcome, advice will be given to those who want to go on to "open" events and, of course, the opportunity to get involved in other aspects of racing also exists. The club also has a club run that departs from the centre of Hinckley at 9.00 am every Sunday.
MEETING US
Please feel free to come along to Wolvey during the season and see what we do. Talk to some of the members and have a cup of tea and a piece of cake in the field next to the Axe & Compass (yes honestly). Alternatively contact one of the numbers below for further information.
