As summer draws to a close it can only mean one the thing - the Cyclo-cross season is nearly upon us!
The advent of Mallory Park's new off road trails means we finally have some excellent practice facilities on our doorstep, as well as there being more events within easy reach of Hinckley than in recent years.
Wednesday Cyclo-cross sessions at Mallory Park during August and September Meet at 6pm by the cafe and ask for Rich Gamble.
Sessions will be pretty informal, although Rich is happy to answer any questions and offer advice to beginners.
Mallory's new MTB trail covers most elements that you would expect to encounter on a technical 'cross course.
Rich will be there for an hour to an hour and a half. £2:50 to be paid to Mallory in the cafe.
There is a Friday 'cross event being run at Mallory Park on Aug 29th.
Should be a perfect event for anyone wanting to give 'cross a go and see what it's all about.
